What a Year for Roman Henry
When Roman Henry came to Iowa this past fall, not many knew he was about to take over the state. But once the basketball season tipped off, it didn’t take long for everyone to realize he was one of the top prospects in Iowa.
The 6’5" freshman put up crazy numbers, averaging 26.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting an efficient 53.2% from the field, 42.5% from deep, and 80.1% from the line.
That momentum only rolled right into the spring and summer. Playing on the Nike EYBL circuit with MoKan Elite, Roman continued to dominate, leading his squad to an undefeated 21-0 run capped off by a Nike Peach Jam Championship.
Fresh off the title, Roman announced he’ll be attending Iowa United Prep in Des Moines—a top-tier program with some of the best high school facilities in the country alongside elite coaching and development. To top it off, the rising sophomore has already picked up Division I offers from West Virginia and Mississippi State.
All eyes will be on Des Moines this winter as the Roman looks to continue to grow at Iowa United Prep.
